Kabaddi is one such sport in which players can present their muscular bodies in an artistic manner also. They use their bodies as a canvas to engrave tattoos. And if we talk about players of Punjabi origin, they love to have tattoos of Lions, Tigers, Swords and of their own face also.
The 2nd World Cup Kabaddi Tournament, at present on in Punjab, is one such place where the Kabaddi players from various countries can be seen having tattoos on their Chest, Neck and Triceps.
Besides getting attracted towards players' play, spectators are getting fascinated towards tattoos also and get themselves clicked to keep the photograph as a souvenir in their homes.
Eight to ten players of India, England, Italy, USA, Norway and Canada are such who have tattoos on their bodies.
England Raider Manga Mithapuria has a tattoo each on his both the triceps. Indian raider Dulla Surkhpuria has a Lion face and Canadian raider Kinda Biharipuria has a Tiger tattooed on their triceps.
Italy's stopper, Bitti Purewal has a Tiger on triceps and a 'Khanda' (Sikh religious symbol) on his neck. However, Indian stopper, Mangat Singh Mangi is different. He has tattooed his own self and a 'Khanda' on his triceps.
Many American players have tattoos on their bodies. Sunny Kandhola is one such US player who has tattooed an Eagle on his chest and Lion, 'Khanda' and his name on his triceps.
Though the craze to have tattoos is not much amongst the players from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Argentina but now they also want to have one after seeing their competitor teammates.
