Recovery rate of Covid Infections in Manipur reach 87.63 percent

In Manipur, seven persons died due to Covid during the past twenty four hours in the State taking total fatalities to 306.

On the other hand, 216 persons including 26 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases. With this, the total of positive cases reached 26073 in the State. Among the positive cases 190 cases are locals and do not have travel history. They are suspected to be infected through local transmission. One hundred and ninety three persons were discharged in the past twenty four hours in the State and the recovery rate reached 87.63 percent, much lower to the national average.

So far Manipur has recorded total recovered and discharged cases of 22848 while the number of active cases is 2919.
