Rajasthan govt decides not to conduct UG, PG examinations of this year in all universities

In view of the COVID situation, the Rajasthan government has decided not to conduct undergraduate and postgraduate examinations in all universities, colleges and technical educational institutions in the state this year. The decision has been taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
 
AIR correspondent reports that Minister of State for Higher Education Bhanwar Singh Bhati told that this year all UG and PG students will be promoted in the next class without examination.
 
On the other hand, Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma has said that the State has developed testing facility of 41 thousand samples per day, which will be increased to 50 thousand tests daily.
 
COVID tests facility has been started in 20 districts, it will also be started soon in the remaining 13 districts of the state. Meanwhile, 4 hundred 80 people tested positive yesterday, which is the highest number in a single day. 2 hundred 24 more cases were reported this morning.
