President Kovind to be on four-day visit to TN, AP

President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a four-day visit to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh from today. 

An official release said the President will present Doctor of Laws degree to Justice (Retd) P. Sathasivam, former Chief Justice of India, and current Governor of Kerala tomorrow. 

He will also present the degree to Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Supreme Court judge and Justice Vijaya Kamlesh Tahilramani, Chief Justice of Madras High Court, at a special convocation of the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University in Chennai.

The President will visit the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota and witness the launch of Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission being undertaken by the ISRO on Monday. 

Our correspondent reports that the President will reach Chennai Airport this afternoon and visits the famous Athivaradhar temple in Kanchipuram.
