Campaigning picks up for 3nd, 4th phases of Jharkhand assembly polls

Campaigning for the third and fourth phases of Jharkhand Assembly Elections has intensified.
Polling for seventeen constituencies spread over eight districts, will be held in the third phase on 12th of this month. In the fourth phase, voting will take place in the 15 assembly seats across over four districts on 16th of December.
Star campaigners of different political parties are holding election rallies and public meetings in support of their candidates.
BJP's Working President JP Nadda held a public meeting in Jamua in Giridih district. He said, only BJP can give stable government it is the party’s track record.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister campaigned in Ichagarh constituency of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The Chief Minister said BJP has a better vision of governance and it has been proved in Jharkhand.
Senior Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha addressed several rallies. He alleged that BJP is shying away from real issues of the country and misleading people.
Addressing a public meeting in Bharno, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha working president Hemant Soren alleged women are not safe in the present regime.
Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Chief Babulal Marandi promised if voted to power his party will provide old-age pension to all needy.
All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) President Sudesh Kumar Mahto, RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and leaders of other prominent parties also held a public meeting in support of their party candidates.
Today is the last date for withdrawal of nominations for the fifth and final phase.
Sixteen constituencies spread over six districts will go to polls in this phase on the 20th of December. Counting will take place on 23rd of this month.
