CSC WiFi Choupal provided 1 Lakh FTTH broadband connections in rural areas in last 40 days

Information and Technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said in 40 days, starting from 10th June, the Common Services Centre ( CSC)  WiFi Choupal has provided 1 Lakh FTTH broadband connections in rural areas.

Mr Prasad said, these connections have been given  across 21 states, using the Bharat Net infrastructure. Mr Prasad said, work is going on in mission mode to achieve an ambitious target of 5 Lakh FTTH connections by September.
