Senior Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Abhishek Manu Singhvi question their own party's continuous attack on PM Modi

AIR
Senior Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh and Abhishek Manu Singhvi have questioned their own party's continuous attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During a function in New Delhi yesterday, Jairam Ramesh said, Mr. Modi's governance model is not a complete negative story and not recognizing his work and demonizing him all the time is not going to help.

He said, it is time to recognize Mr. Modi's work and what he did between 2014 and 2019 due to which he was voted back to power by over 30 per cent of the electorate. Reacting on Mr. Ramesh comments, another Congress leader Mr. Singhvi also echoed same view  and said always  demonising Prime Minister Modi is wrong.

He said, the acts are always good, bad and indifferent and they must be judged issue- wise and not person-wise. He added that certainly, Ujjawala scheme of NDA government is only one amongst other good deeds.
