Chief Minister Helpline will prove an effective tool in redressing public grievances: Himachal CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has said that the Chief Minister Helpline (Him Sewa) will prove an effective tool in redressing the public grievances as people at large will not require to visit government offices repeatedly to get their work done. 

While addressing the training workshop on Chief Minister's Helpline organised in Shimla today through video conferencing from Ahmedabad, Mr Thakur said, helpline is being started to save the precious time and money of the general public. 

He directed the officers to make all efforts to make this helpline a big success. The Chief Minister added that Jan Manch programme initiated by the state government has proved to be successful in providing relief to the masses by reaching out directly to them.

Complaints relating to all departments would be registered on this Helpline and it will be ensured that the complaints are addressed at the earliest. This Helpline will register the complaints through call centre and all relevant information regarding the officers of all the departments will be available on it. 

An app of this Helpline will soon be started and feedback and suggestions of the people will also be taken through this service. The offices of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary will monitor the Helpline which will remain active from 7 AM to 10 PM.
