PM Narendra Modi to resume 'Mann Ki Baat' programme from 30th June

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to resume his popular Mann Ki Baat programme from this Sunday. Ahead of the first episode of the second version of Prime Minister’s interactive programme in All India Radio, women in Assam are expecting a host of issues to be raised by Mr. Modi. 

AIR Guwahati correspondent reports, the women population are keeping high expectations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat  programme. Umi Baruah, a resident of Guwahati, hoped, Prime Minister would raise issues of women security with a stress to set up more women police stations.

Durin Bora also echoed that strict action would be taken against those who committed crimes against women. Parinita Saikia from Guwahati expected that Prime Minister would give emphasis  to girls' education.
