Goa governor Mridula Sinha, CM Pramod Sawant extend Eid-ul-Fitr greetings

Goa governor Mridula Sinha and chief minister Pramod Sawant have extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings. In her message, Dr Sinha said that gratitude and service to humanity are the fundamental values that Islam inculcates in every person.

She said, in a diverse country like ours, it is essential to promote and maintain inter-religious understanding and co-existence. The governor urged people of Goa to maintain its rich legacy of people of different faiths living in harmony.

In his message, Mr Sawant wished that Eid-ul-Fitr should bring in greater joy and happiness, and strengthen unity, fraternity and brotherhood.
