The West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee re-shuffled her cabinet today. Speaking at Kolkata today Ms. Banerjee said that some Ministers have been given additional responsibilities while some of them have been shifted to other ministries. The Forest minister Mr. Binoy Barman and Paschimanchal Development Minister Mr. Shantiram Mahato have been kept in the cabinet but without any portfolio.

AIR correspondent reports that Ms. Banerjee also did huge administrative re-shuffles. Home Secretary and other  Secretaries and District Magistrates have been transferred following the recent debacle of TMC in Lok Sabha elections. One Minister in North Bengal and another one in Paschimanchal have not given any portfolio following BJP’s victory in these areas.
