PM Modi reaches Ahmedabad; pays tribute to Sardar Patel

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ahmedabad this evening. He was received by Governor of Gujarat O.P. Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, Speaker of state assembly Rajendra Trivedi and others on his arrival at Airport.

From airport, the Prime Minister straight away went to the statue of Sardar Patel and paid floral tribute.

AIR correspondent reports that thousands of people gathered outside the airport to welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah. Both the leaders are visiting their home state for the first time after party’s landslide victory in the Lok Sabha polls.

The Prime Minister and the BJP President visited Khanpur BJP Office and met the party workers.
