Rahul Gandhi criticizes PM Modi's "Main Bhi Chowkidar" campaign

PTI
Congress President Rahul Gandhi today criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Main Bhi Chowkidar" campaign, calling him a gatekeeper who stood guard for the wealth of the rich.

Addressing his maiden rally in Bihar after the announcement of the Lok Sabha polls, Gandhi also accused Mr. Modi of failing to deliver every promise that the BJP made in 2014. He said, Modi government did nothing for farmers and labourers during its five-year rule. He also attacked the government on Rafale issue.

Later, addressing a rally in Malda district of West Bengal, Rahul Gandhi reiterated that his party will ensure minimum income guarantee to the poor if voted to power. He said small traders have been severely affected by the GST, and his party will change it.

Rahul Gandhi criticised Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre for its alleged failure in employment generation. He also criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for alleged misrule in the state.
