Nation stands together as enemy tries to destabilize India: PM

DD News
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India's enemy tries to destabilize it and wants to stop its growth by carrying out terror attacks and all citizens will have to stand like a rock to counter their evil designs. The Prime Minister said, India will live as one, work as one, grow as one, fight as one and will win as one.

Interacting with BJP workers across the country via video conferencing today, Mr Modi said, the country has trust in its security forces. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of making sure that nothing affects their morale or gives enemies a chance to point fingers.

Mr Modi further said that the nation is grateful to all those who are protecting it and it is because of them that India can reach new levels of development. The Prime Minister added that the entire nation is with them and the world is seeing India's willpower.

Talking about next Lok Sabha polls, Mr Modi said, 2014 elections were mandated for fulfilling people's necessities, and 2019 elections will be about fulfilling people's aspirations. He said the general elections will be a fight between the culture of BJP and others.

He added that in BJP, every decision is taken democratically as per the wishes of party workers while in Congress and other opposition parties, every action is in the interest of dynastic politics. He termed the opposition alliance as Maha Milawat alleging that people who did not see eye to eye are now joining hands to grab power. Mr Modi said the country does not want a helpless government but a strong regime.

Prime Minister cautioned BJP workers saying even a slight mistake in the next polls will bring the country back into the era of corruption and scams. He accused the Congress of compromising national security for kickbacks and stalling defence modernisation and Rafale aircraft deal.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister also highlighted the country's economic growth saying the NDA government wants to turn India into the third-largest economy. He asserted that the country is going to attain even more strength and development in the times to come and called for hard work in all sectors.

AIR correspondent reports, Narendra Modi interacted with BJP workers and volunteers from 15 thousand locations across the country. It was organized under the Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot programme. The party has claimed that it is world's largest video conference, which is aimed at mobilizing BJP workers ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Several union ministers and BJP leaders were present in different locations of the country to participate in this event. BJP President Amit Shah was present in Delhi BJP office.
