Govt considers farmers as Annadata, says PM Modi

@airnewss
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, his government considers farmers as Annadaata and not a vote bank.

Speaking at Palamu in Jharkhand, Mr Modi accused his opponents of speaking lies to farmers in the name of bank loan waivers.

The Prime Minister said, his government is working for providing houses to the rural people five times faster than the previous governments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

He charged the previous governments of criminal negligence in delaying for forty seven years the execution of Mangal Dam project which has resulted cost escalation from 30 crores to 2,400 crores.

He appreciated the joint efforts of the Chief Ministers of Jharkhand and Bihar in reviving the project with the support of central government. Mr Modi said, under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, about 10,000 people are being given free medical care each day.
