PM Modi says that Government is working to develop Purvanchal as a hub for fast medicare facilities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Government is working to develop Purvanchal as a hub for fast medicare facilities. He said that the medical college in Ghazipur will provide not only better Heath facilities but prepare local doctors to serve the people.  Shri Modi was addressing a public meeting at Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. 

He said his government is tirelessly working for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden and has launched Heath schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Suraksha Yojna.  He said this region will become rich in the fields of road, Heath facilities, agriculture and employment. 

Prime Minister also praised  Maharaja Suheldev, saying that he spent his life for the welfare of poor by constructed roads, gardens and other facilities. He announced that a memorial in the name of Maharaja Suhel dev will be established at Chitaura (चितौरा) of Bahraich district where he fought against foreign invaders.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Congress for not caring for farmers during its tenures at the Centre. He said his government has increased the minimum support prices of 22 cereals to one and halftime. 

On reaching Ghazipur Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given revered welcome by huge gathering at RTI field. He was received by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union minister for communication and MOS for Rail Manoj Sinha and BJP state president Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey here. 

Prime Minister while releasing a commemorative postal on iconic and mentor of Rajbhar community  Maharaja Suheldev said these rupees 5 postal stamps will publicise the good deeds of Maharaja Suhel dev in every nook and corner of the country. 

The Medical college for which foundation was laid by Prime Minister today will be constructed at the cost of rupees 220 crores and will prove a milestone in the development of health and medical education.
