Three-member delegation of ECI, led by CEC on two-day visit to Rajasthan

The three-member delegation of Election Commission of India, led by Chief Election Commissioner O.P. Rawat along with Election Commissioners Sunil Arora and Ashok Lavasa is on a two-day visit to Rajasthan. 

Three members of Election commission of India in the leadership of CEC O.P.Rawat is in Jaipur for taking stock of preparations regarding upcoming election in Rajasthan. The commission is having talks with Chief Secretary, DG P and other senior officers of state govt. The commission is on two days visit of the state.   

Yesterday they held a meeting with leaders of recognized political parties in the state. In the meeting, Congress leaders put their demand to conduct the election with ballot papers whereas BJP leaders requested to conduct polling in two phases. 

BJP leaders also requested to make special arrangements regarding safety and security of women voters. It has also been suggested by BJP leaders to make arrangements for waiting lobby so that no longer ques remain for voters.
