PM Modi congratulates Pranab Bardhan, Shibnath Dey Sarkar for bringing Gold Medal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Dey Sarkar for bringing  Gold Medal in  Men’s Bridge event at the Asian Games. In a tweet, Mr Modi also said he is proud of Amit Panghal for  winning Gold in the Men’s 49kg boxing event. 

The Prime Minister also congratulated the men's hockey team for winning the Bronze and said, this will surely enhance the popularity of Hockey across the nation. He also congratulated the 

women’s squash team for winning  Silver medal in the game.

Sports Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore also congratulated Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Dey Sarkar for bagging gold medal in Men’s Bridge event  and Amit Panghal for winning gold in Men's 49 kg Boxing at  Asian Games.

He also congratulated the Indian Hockey team for winning Bronze medal by defeating Pakistan. He also congratulated  and women's squash team for  winning silver.
