VP urged IAS officers to take benefits of govt schemes to poor people

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has urged young IAS officers to take the benefits of government schemes to the poorest of the poor in the society. 

Addressing an event in New Delhi on Sunday, he said, as civil servants, the officers have an onerous role to play in the effective implementation of the public programmes. 

Mr Naidu said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government is pursuing the goal of inclusive development with vigour and commitment. 

He said, the Government is guided by the objective of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' and for this good governance is an absolute imperative.

Jan Kalyan Shiksha Samiti had organized the programme as a part of its project 'Samkalp' to felicitate its teachers for their contribution.
