England clinches three-match series 2-1 beating India by 8 wickets in final ODI at Leeds

In Cricket, England clinched the three-match series defeating India in the third and final ODI by 8 wickets at Leeds last night. The hosts overhauled the target of 257 runs in 44.3 overs, losing only two wickets.
For England, Joe Root hit a second successive century, while Eoin Morgan smashed an unbeaten half-century. The duo shared a match-winning unbeaten 186 run unconquered stand to a successful chase.
Earlier, put into bat, India scored 256 for 8 in the stipulated 50 overs, with the help of skipper Virat Kohli's 71 and Shikhar Dhawan's and Mahindra Singh Dhoni's 42. 
The five-match test series between India and England will begin from 1st of next month at Birmingham. In a crucial match at Leeds last night, England beat India by eight wickets in the final ODI to wrap up the three-match cricket series 2-1. Chasing the victory target of 257, England overhauled the target in 44.3 overs. 
For the hosts, Joe Root hit a second successive century, while Eoin Morgan smashed an unbeaten half century as the duo shared a match-winning unbeaten 186 run unconquered stand to a successful runchase.
