Radicalisation can only be eliminated with integration: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, radicalisation can only end with integration. He was addressing a youth convention at Tumakuru in Karnataka on Sunday, via video conference on 'Youth Power: A vision of New India.

Mr Modi said, the election results of three North-Eastern states have created a sense of festivities in the nation. 

He said, old policies gave a sense of alienation to people of Northeast, but NDA government's policies in last four years have tried to bridge this gap. 

The Prime Minister said, the people of North east have rejected the politics of division by voting for NDA government. 

Speaking about the youth, Mr Modi said, there is always something to learn from them during every interaction. 

He said, India is the youngest country in the world today where over 65% people are younger than the age of 35.  Mr Modi said, this young energy can change the fate of the nation.

The Prime Minister said, around Rs. 11 crore  loans have been sanctioned under the Mudra Yojna. 

Out of this, Rs. One crore 14 lakh loans have been sanctioned for the Karnataka youth. 

Mr Modi said, the government launched Stand Up India and Start-Up India schemes to promote entrepreneurship among youth. 

Prime Minister said, there is no dearth of ideas in the youth of the country and innovation is the base for better future.

The convention was being organised to mark the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram in Tumakuru, the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s address in Chicago and Sister Nivedita’s 150th birth anniversary.

Mr Modi said, Swami Vivekanand invested his life in nation building, by making Jan Sewa synonymous with Dev Sewa.
