Minister of State for Planning, Rao Inderjit Singh today said, Niti Aayog will put in place fool proof mechanism so that farmers will get adequate price for farmers for their produce. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Mr Singh said, 93 per cent of the districts in the country have been allocated Atal Tinkering Labs.

CEO Niti Aayog Amitabh Kant said, 115 aspirational districts are being transformed under the Prime Minister's leadership. He said, the government will next rank states on education and water.

AIR correspondent reports that the NITI Aayog's Budget allocation has been increased by more than 20 per cent. The budget 2018 enhances NITI’s role in the national policy and frontier technologies. NITI Aayog is also in consultation with state governments to evolve a suitable mechanism to enable access of lessee cultivators to credit without compromising the rights of the land-owners.
